Question by LiveLaughLove: Do you think its unfair to pay child support after they’re 18?
I just read that some states may require you to pay child support until they are 21 if they are full time students. Personally i think this is unfair for the parent that has to pay child support. Yes it is terrible they wern’t there but at 18 they are an adult now. They shouldn’t still revive “child” support. I am a freshman in college now and have taken out loans and have a full time job AND go to school full time. My parents are still together and offered to help but I know i can do this on my own. Is it right for some states to still require the parent to pay? Any thoughts some why some states do? Do you agree with my thoughts or disagree? I’m just looking for insight.
